    Very well presented food. Price reasonable for tourist area. Good quality food! Service was good. The front door of the restaurant is not very welcoming but once you get through the doors, it's actually a nice dining area.

    To my surprise, I did not expect to find any authentic sushi sashimi served in the middle of historical lakeside retreat. The restaurant is a few blocks from the lake and seems a bit slow. I am surprised that it serves side dishes other than the usual seaweed salad (not the neon color kind) and shirataki zero carb noodle in vinaigrette.

    Their sashimi platter is worth the price. I especially love the Aka Ebi sweet shrimp. The beef teriyaki box I also delicious.

    Our waitress is from Tokyo. I am surprised that it was not busy.

    I was in Harrison for a girls spa weekend and we were craving sushi. The limited options in town made us a little nervous but we decided to give Kitami a shot. This place is great! We had 2 orders of gyoza, miso soup, edamame, 2 California rolls, a Harrison roll, tekka maki, and a bbq sockeye salmon roll. There were three of us at dinner and we left stuffed and happy. It definitely hit the spot! Service was great as well. The place is small but it wasn't busy on a Friday night. We will definitely be back next time we're in town!

    This is the worst Japanese restaurant service I've been to! I've eating at many Japanese restaurants, but this is the first where both the owner and the lady staff were so rude! We have a large party, we asked if the have room for 19 people, the first thing they said was "Are you kidding me?" And shooed us away very disrespectfully. I hope they read this review and learn to treat their customers with respect. I know Japanese are very friendly and service first, but there people do not hold up to the Japanese standard...nor any standard.

    Amazing food..sushi is so good!  Quiet place. Not busy, great service  will definitely be back
